Wegbeschreibung
You start the tour at the Fürsatzhöhe hiking parking lot and enjoy the view towards Neustadt to the local mountain “Hochfirst”. On a clear day, you can also see the Alps from here. You leave the altitude of 1070 m and follow the yellow diamond towards Neustadt through the Spriegelsbach valley. This valley owes its name to the stream that flows through damp meadows, the Brühel. A paved road takes you past several farms and down into the valley. Cattle pastures line the path to the right and left. After approx. 1 km, the Hanisenhof chapel is located on the left at a farm access road.
Follow Spriegelsbachstraße further into the valley until you reach Dengisenhof. The farm chapel awaits you in the courtyard. Leave the Dengisenhof and walk to the neighboring farm, the Kreuzhof with its chapel. Leave Spriegelsbach and turn right in front of the Sonnenmatte inn. Walk along the cycle path along Neustädter Straße until you reach the bus stop. There, turn right onto Altenweg. You can already see the farm access road to your next destination, the Baschishof farm chapel.
From here, walk along Altenweg until you come to an underpass. This will take you safely to the other side of the B 31. Keep to the right and pass the Titisee cemetery, then cross the road into the “Bärenhof area”. The “Kapellenweg” takes you to your next destination, the Bärenhof chapel. Its unusual size shows the former importance of the Bärenhof as an inn and post station with a transformer station for the horses.
You walk back to the access road to the B 31, where you meet the hiking route of the Westweg towards Heiligenbrunnen. Follow the path under the B 31 and make a detour to Bläsihof. The paved access road leads you over a bridge uphill to the farm. The small farm chapel is located directly in front of the farm.
Continue past the farm and past pastures and follow the Westweg and Oberaltenweg. The path leads you uphill along the golf course. After approx. 500 m, the Westweg turns right off the Oberaltenweg. Keep left and stay on the tarred road and follow it to the junction at Oberaltenweg 16. Our next destination is the farm chapel at Oberbeckenhof.
Follow the path further around the farm up to the heights. It takes you back to the Westweg, past the Berghäusle hiking home to the Heiligenbrunnen pilgrimage site and the St. Margarethen chapel.
You now return to the starting point. To do so, take the paved path past the inn and turn right at the second junction. From here you have an overwhelming view over Hinterzarten towards Feldberg. The tarred road takes you back to the starting point, the parking lot at the Fürsatzhöhe.
