Tour around Lake Titisee

After a wonderful winter hike in the clear, cold air, you can warm up with a hot mulled wine in Titisee.

You can discover the diversity of the Black Forest Highlands on this winter tour without much ascent. You start your tour amidst the snow-covered winter landscape at the Kurhaus in Titisee. Let yourself drift along the vibrant Seestraße and enjoy the first views of the frozen lake with the Feldberg in the background. Follow the promenade to its end.

From here, keep right and walk past the Seehof. You walk directly along the lakeshore. There you can watch the ice skaters very closely - if the ice surface of Lake Titisee is thick enough.
Then the route takes you along a flat forest path to the Sandbank campsite. You walk through a small section of forest away from the lake to the Bankenhof campsite. Here you walk in the direction of Hinterzarten. Leave the Bankenhof campsite on your left and after a short climb, you will reach the quaint "Bankenhof" farmstead. This is home to the museum for old agricultural technology (open on Thursdays from 2-5 pm). Well worth a visit!

With beautiful views of the lake, you walk further and further along the district road and can take the opportunity to warm up with warm drinks and enjoy delicious cakes at the Alemannenhof. After a little refreshment, the trail continues and soon you will see the bathing area at Lake Titisee. Here you enter the spa garden and you are back at the lake and soon near the Kurhaus and the town center.

The Titisee circular trail is suitable for baby carriages, we recommend winter-proof equipment!
