Beschreibung

During the tour, you will pass the charming "Herz-Jesu-Kapelle" (Sacred Heart Chapel), a small chapel that was renovated in the 1960s. The priest had the two bells replaced and removed the skilfully carved high altar. The altar was later restored and set up again in the chapel, where it can still be admired today. People used to seek help in times of need in chapels like this.

Wegbeschreibung

You start in the centre of "Staufen". Right next to the car park, turn left at the chapel. Follow the path for a few metres and then take the second road on the right. The "Schwandweg" leads you slightly downhill towards "Mettmatal" valley and "Bulgenbach". You cross a small forest. Keep right at the next junction ("Im Bürgle") to get back to the starting point.
