Wegbeschreibung
The Oberzarten cross-country ski trail is a challenging trail that starts behind the Kurhaus and follows the Zartenbach trail for a while. Cross the road at the ice pond and bear right past the idyllic Mathislehof farm. Cross the road again and continue steadily uphill. When you reach the top, you will pass through a beautiful section of forest, where you will also descend once. The route continues with another short climb and at the top you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside. From now on the trail goes downhill. Be careful, you will have to cross three roads. After the last road crossing you will pass the Mathislehof again. Then there is a rather challenging descent with a bend.
