Ski tour from the "Feldberg" Pass to the "Herzogenhorn"

Between the Feldberg Pass and the Bernau high valley, the Black Forest rises once again above the 1400 metre mark. Here, the Herzogenhorn forms the second highest, independent mountain massif in Germany's largest low mountain range, ahead of the Belchen, which is one metre lower. As the summit is far to the south, the distant views of the Alps are even more beautiful compared to the Feldberg. On clear days, you can clearly recognise the silhouettes of well-known high mountain peaks: From Säntis via Tödi, Titlis and Sustenhorn to the Bernese triumvirate with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and on to Mont Blanc - a fantastic ski tour in a magnificent landscape lies ahead of you.
