Hiking tour at "Schönenbach"

You start at the "Schönenbach" sports ground and walk uphill a little on the "Büblehofweg". From the top, you can see the pumped storage power plant of "Häusern" down in the valley. After a short distance, turn right onto "Nagelhüttenweg" past the refuge having the same name. The snow markers (wooden poles) along the winter hiking trail also help for orientation. At the end of the "Nagelhüttenweg", you arrive at the district road between "Schönenbach" and "Seebrugg", where you continue to the right parallel to the road. Follow the "Langfurchenweg" until you get out of the forest. From here you have a marvellous view of the Alps in good weather. Now follow the tarred road downhill, which leads to "Kirschbaumstraße". Turn right here and after 500 metres turn right again onto the village road which leads you uphill back to the starting point.

We recommend winterproof equipment. If necessary, bring a rucksack lunch and warm tea.
